Skier’s Breakfast Burrito from Beaumont Bakery — Mountain Mornings

On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m prioritizing mostly newer restaurants, but there are a few spots I’ve visited before that still feel fresh to the valley and deserve a mention. One of those staples is Beaumont. Today I picked up a breakfast burrito from there and knew it had to be included.

I love Beaumont for two main reasons: convenience and freshness. If you like to play in the mountains along the Wasatch Front, Beaumont is one of the best places to fuel up before heading out. I often grab a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through makes it quick and accessible without sacrificing quality. While many drive-through breakfast options can be greasy and heavy, Beaumont manages to stay light and fresh so you don’t feel weighed down when you’re about to be active.

The breakfast burrito at Beaumont is filled with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. What really elevates it is the sauce—the creamy tomatillo escabeche dressing that ties everything together. A great sauce can make or break a breakfast burrito, and Beaumont’s choice adds brightness and depth to every bite.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers much more than a standout burrito. From excellent coffee and fresh pastries to a delicious burrata salad, the menu is dependable and thoughtfully prepared. Because the food is consistently good, the cafe can get busy—especially on weekends—so expect a crowd if you plan to sit and linger. If you only need coffee and pastries, though, it’s easy to pop in or use the drive-through to grab what you need quickly.

Beaumont also has a lovely patio and an attractive interior, making it a pleasant spot to relax when time allows. For a quick, fresh, and flavorful breakfast before a day in the mountains or a slow weekend coffee break, Beaumont is a reliable choice I’m happy to recommend.
