  • 6 tablespoons melted butter

Remaining Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 (3.4-ounce) package butterscotch instant pudding
  • 1 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (21-ounce) can apple pie filling
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip (additional for topping)
  • Caramel sauce, for drizzling
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Refrigerate at least 15 minutes to set.
  • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar with a hand mixer until smooth. Fold in 8 ounces of Cool Whip on low speed until combined. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust and return to the refrigerator.
  • Rinse the bowl, then whisk the butterscotch pudding mix with 1 1/2 cups cold milk until thickened (about 2 minutes). Gently stir in the apple pie filling. Spread this mixture over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the pudding to set.
  • Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the pudding layer. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with butterscotch chips before serving.

Notes

To make graham cracker crumbs, pulse whole crackers in a food processor or place them in a sealed plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin.

If using store-bought crumbs, add 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon to mimic cinnamon graham flavor.
