“I am not usually a fan of carrot cake, but oh my yum. I decided to make them because they were the monthly bake challenge and I’ve never made them before. I’m so glad I decided to because they were delicious and a definite crowd pleaser. The caramel rum sauce was amazing and put the carrot cake over the top. I have leftover caramel rum sauce that I’m going to dipping some apples into!!”

Homemade Dinner Rolls
These dinner rolls have been a family favorite for years — everyone calls them simply “those rolls.”
“Will you make those rolls?”
“I thought we’d have those rolls.”
We all know the ones I mean: incredibly soft and pillowy, slightly sweet, with just the right chew and a rich buttery flavor. I would happily have them with dinner every night if I could. Instead, I make them for special occasions and for days that deserve a little extra comfort.
The dough yields rolls that are tender inside with a light, golden crust. They hold up well as sliders, dinner accompaniments, or simply slathered with butter while still warm. The recipe is straightforward and forgiving, which makes it perfect for bakers of all skill levels.
