I don’t often stop talking about beer, but I wanted to share one of my favorite local breweries with you.
Rogue has been a favorite since I first started appreciating craft beer. While visiting their restaurant in Eugene recently, I fell head over heels for their honey orange wheat beer — bright, balanced, and utterly memorable.

Our friend sampled the Voodoo Maple Bacon Doughnut brew — a novelty that somehow captures Oregon creativity in a bottle. It’s bold and distinctive, and definitely a conversation starter.

My boyfriend ordered one of Rogue’s big, bold IPAs, as he often does. I usually prefer wheats, but their hop-forward beers are packed with flavor and exceptionally well made.

The restaurant menu is solid too — we enjoyed classic pub fare like hot wings that paired nicely with the beers.

If you’re nearby, stop in and try a few pours. Rogue has locations in Eugene, along the Oregon coast, and in Portland — a great way to sample local brewing creativity. Oregon really is a wonderful place for craft beer.
