How to Make Mojito Fruit Salad

STEP 1: Whisk together the dressing ingredients—honey, lime zest and juice, and minced mint. If making an adult version, add rum to the dressing.

STEP 2: Place the prepared fruit in a large bowl.

STEP 3: Gently toss the fruit with the dressing, then chill until ready to serve. Toss again just before serving.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups (640g) cubed watermelon
  • 2 cups (285g) cubed honeydew
  • 2 cups (285g) cubed cantaloupe
  • 1 (6oz) (170g) container blackberries
  • 1 tablespoon minced mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • zest and juice of 1 large lime

Instructions

  • Combine the prepared fruit in a large bowl and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, mix the mint, honey, lime zest, and lime juice. Add the dressing to the fruit and gently toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate up to 2 hours. Toss again before serving.

Notes

  1. Storage: Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Fruit will soften the longer it sits.
  2. For an adult version, stir 2–4 tablespoons of rum into the dressing before tossing with the fruit.
