EPCOT Canada Pavilion Popcorn Review — What to Try and Skip

If you’ve strolled past the Canada Pavilion in Epcot, you might have been stopped by a warm, sweet scent — buttery notes with a hint of maple. That smell comes from the Popcorn in Canada cart, famous for one of Epcot’s most popular treats: Maple Popcorn. Whether you love popcorn, want to try a unique snack, or simply follow your nose, this little cart is worth visiting.

Location & Seating:

You’ll find Popcorn in Canada in the Canada Pavilion. Head toward the green metal archway by Le Cellier and look to the left before you pass under the arch. The cart is easy to spot — and you’ll likely smell it before you see it thanks to that unmistakable maple aroma.

The cart itself is a simple red-and-wood grab-and-go setup labeled “Maple Popcorn.” There isn’t seating directly at the cart, but benches are nearby. One of the nicest places to sit is along the lagoon, where shaded benches under the trees offer a peaceful spot to enjoy your snack and a view of the water.

The Menu:

The menu is straightforward. Your main choices are regular Maple Popcorn, Maple Popcorn in a souvenir bucket, and bucket refills. The popcorn is dairy-free and vegan, making it suitable for many dietary preferences.

Beverage options are limited but thoughtful: bottled sodas and water, two draft beers, and occasionally a cocktail featuring Canadian whiskey and maple. During Epcot festivals, the cart sometimes offers seasonal specials like mini desserts or unique cocktails.

Prices generally range from $7 to $16.50, which makes it an affordable snack with optional souvenir or premium choices for a bit more.

What I Order:

Maple Popcorn is one of my go-to Epcot treats. The regular size, usually around $7, comes in a generously filled box that’s easy to carry while you explore the park. The popcorn is served warm and fresh, coated in a maple-flavored glaze that delivers a sweet, buttery bite with a pleasant crunch — think maple-forward caramel corn or a warm Cracker Jack vibe without the nuts.

The cart also offers a notable beer option: Unibroue La Fin du Monde (often about $14). This Tripel pours a golden color, has a higher ABV, and shows light spice and hop notes that pair surprisingly well with the sweet maple popcorn.
