Growing up in a Catholic Italian family, seafood was a staple—especially on Fridays during Lent. Fresh fish, clams, and shellfish were regulars at our table, and those traditions shaped my love for seafood.

I could honestly live off seafood. One thing I miss about Long Island is the abundance of excellent fish markets and seafood restaurants. I didn’t realize how fortunate I was to have access to such fresh and affordable options.
